# QuickStart with free $50

2. **Redeem**: Get your free $50 redeem code instantly via [t.me/CodexEverywhereBot](https://t.me/CodexEverywhereBot) . Then go to website's sidebar and enter it under `Redeem Code`.
3. **Create Key**: Go to `API Keys` → `Create API Key`. Select Group: `Codex Plus Pool (Free Trial)`
4. **Configure Codex**: Click `Use Key` and follow the setup guide. Edit the config file at:  `%userprofile%/.codex/config.toml`​ or `%userprofile%/.config/opencode/opencode.json`.​ Make sure set your base URL correctly
